Windworks was founded on a quiet belief: that the patience of orchestral training belongs to everyone, not only those born near a conservatory. Whether a student arrives with a borrowed trumpet or a polished Selmer, our role is the same — to listen, to guide, and to make the next note better than the last.
Our teaching is rooted in the great wind traditions of Europe and the Americas, but the studio remains unmistakably modern: video reviews, breath analytics, ensemble streaming for distant families. Tradition with the lights on.
Curriculum drawn from conservatory traditions, principal-chair experience, and decades of section rehearsal.
Lessons reshape to each student — tonal exercises, repertoire, and theory paced to mind and breath.
We believe rigorous teaching can also be warm and inviting. No gatekeeping, just patient mastery.
Five years of weekly lessons, hundreds of recitals, and a few generations of practising humans.
